Debunking the 3 Biggest Myths about Disability Benefits and Work

Webinar December 12

Some people with disabilities may be able to work and continue receiving disability benefits. On December 12, tune in to a free webinar from the Social Security Administration to learn about the Social Security administration’s Ticket to Work program and support services for people who are ready to work.

This month’s webinar will also include information about common myths relating to disability benefits and work, including:

  • Social Security will not conduct a Continuing Disability Review (CDR) while you are participating in the Ticket to Work program.
  • How you can keep your Medicare or Medicaid after you begin replacing cash benefits with earnings from work.
  • You can restart your cash benefits without reapplying for benefits if your job does not work out or you cannot continue to work.
