Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council (INSILC) is supporting the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) in its development of a statewide Direct Support Worker (DSW) Plan to address the care needs of our Hoosier disability and aging communities. This FSSA initiative is called the Indiana DSW State Plan Project. Right now, a huge effort is underway to gather feedback from stakeholders for this plan. This means FSSA wants and needs to hear directly from YOU — our peers with ANY / ALL types of disabilities, conditions of aging, including our Deaf / Hard of Hearing (HOH) peers — about how YOU are being impacted by the direct support worker crisis and ideas on how this workforce crisis can be addressed or improved!

It is essential that FSSA hears directly from our peers with lived experience who navigate and struggle everyday with finding, accessing and maintaining reliable Direct Support Workers to provide them with services in their homes. YOU must be at the center of leading and driving this project / plan!

REGISTER TODAY! Space is limited for this virtual event.
