“Body Wellness & Independence Among Hoosiers with Disabilities” survey!
Indiana Disability Justice is asking our peers with disabilities to share their “Body Wellness & Independence Among Hoosiers with Disabilities” survey!

Purpose: This survey is intended to answer the following questions:
- Are adults with disabilities in Indiana experiencing sexual violence, sexual harassment, and bodily restriction?
- Do adults with disabilities in Indiana have access to information about bodily autonomy, sexuality, and supported sexual and romantic decision-making?
- What do adults with disabilities want and need to feel autonomy in their bodies and sexuality?
- Who can respond to the survey?
- There are three requirements for participating in the survey:
- You must be 18 years old or older (a legal adult)
- You must live in Indiana and consider Indiana your current “home”
- You must be a person with a disability

Who “counts” as a person with a disability? For this survey, all people with any disabilities are welcome to participate. This includes those who receive disability benefits and those who do not. This includes those with a formal medical diagnosis as well as those with informal diagnoses and self-diagnoses. People who are Deaf/HoH and consider themselves to be neurodivergent or part of a linguistic minority community are also welcome to participate.
