Community Connections for People with Disabilities Grant Webinar
Community Connections for People with Disabilities Grant Webinar
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitation Services is committed to helping to mitigate the negative social, emotional and health effects of COVID-19 for Hoosiers with disabilities. DDRS, in partnership with the Office of Community and Rural Affairs, has developed a grant program addressing COVID-19-related issues of community inclusion for Hoosier adults with disabilities.
The Community Connections for People with Disabilities grant is intended to encourage Indiana communities to partner with local developmental disabilities service organizations to develop activities that support community inclusion for Hoosier adults with disabilities by either:
- Addressing issues of internet access and technology equity; or
- Addressing issues of social isolation and lost access to natural supports (family, friends, etc.).
The grant application will open on October 23, 2020, and close on January 10, 2021 at 4 p.m. EST. Grant awardees will be announced in late January 2021, and are eligible for up to $200,000 in funds.
More information on the CCPWD grant program can be found here.
