COVID-19 and the Americans with Disabilities Act: Access to State and Local Government Programs and Services

 

On April 9, at 2:00 p.m. the Great Lakes ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network will host a special ADA Audio Conference Series session titled “COVID-19 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):  Access to Programs and Services” featuring: Clarette Yen and Andy Washburn of the U.S. Department of Justice.

 

This session will address issues impacting persons with disabilities and the current COVID-19 pandemic. Access to programs and services of state and local governments and businesses is critical for persons with disabilities during the current health crisis. Our speakers will look at common questions regarding effective communication, health care services, transportation, modifications in policies and procedures, eligibility criteria, access to programs and services.

 

This session is free and will be captioned via the web based webinar platform.
