Recruiting New Board Members for the Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities
Have you ever been interested in joining the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities? Join current Council Board members for the “Roles & Responsibilities” training to ask questions and learn about the application process. Use this Council Board Interest Form to let GCPD staff know the best way to send you the calendar invitation to this training, a copy of the Council Board Vacancy Announcement and Board Application: https://forms.office.com/g/B0PKGiCDzz.
If you’ve already applied and have not been appointed, you do not need to apply again or fill out the interest form. GCPD staff encourages you to join the training on Tuesday, July 12th.
Please feel free to share this with your community members, email lists, and on social media (find the original post on the Council’s Facebook page). If you work for a service provider, please be sure to share this information with the people you support, including people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their family members or caregivers. A full list of vacancies will be sent out on Wednesday, July 13th.
