Virtual Housing Conference September 14 & 15
The Back Home in Indiana Alliance, through support from the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities is hosting a virtual housing conference for our peers with disabilities and allies!

Three nationally recognized speakers will present over the two days. “Housing Discrimination and Segregation” with renown
Attorney Florence Roisman will be the keynote address on Sept. 14th at 2:00 pm. She will be followed with Indiana’s own,
Amy Nelson, Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana, who will present on Indiana Fair housing Complaints and Resolutions.
On September 15th at 1:00 pm, Lynne Seagle, of HOPE House, Virginia, will walk us through how the organization closed
their group homes and assisted people to move into their own apartments/homes with personalized supports.
In addition, numerous other housing and disability community leaders will present on a number of “nuts and bolts” topics
for those seeking integrated, affordable and accessible housing.
