Your Input is Appreciated– BDS Statewide perspectives on practices
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services is requesting your input, ideas, and feedback to assist in advancing our work to improve our quality and compliance approach. Specifically, the Bureau of Disabilities Services, has been working in partnership with stakeholders and providers over the past five years to build systems that ensure the health and safety of individuals while supporting individual choice and decision-making. These efforts have been supported in part by the Living Well grant that concludes this fall. While BDS is committed to continuing this effort, we are seeking input to understand the impact of this work to date and to inform continuous quality improvement.
We are inviting all providers, case managers and direct support professionals to complete this anonymous survey to understand your experiences and perspectives on BDS’ current approach to quality and compliance, as well as ideas for advancing this work together. The purpose of this anonymous survey is to understand how BDS can better assist you as you support life goals and health and safety needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This will also help to inform the development and alignment of a survey that will be administered at a later date to individuals receiving services.
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Please click on the link below to complete the survey by Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023.
PLEASE NOTE: You may also receive an individual email invitation to this same survey(s). Please complete the survey appropriate to your role just once.
